About Franck For Accounts
John P. Franck is the Commissioner of Accounts for the City of Saratoga Springs. He is currently in his fourth term and is the endorsed Democratic, Independence and Working Families Party Candidate. The Commissioner of Accounts acts as the City Assessor, City Clerk, Purchasing Agent, Insurance Officer, Records Management Officer, and Register of Vital Records. He is a Certified Public Accountant as well as a Licensed Assessor.
His past and present community involvement includes; Board Member of Saratoga Springs Preservation Foundation, Treasurer of Literacy NENY Saratoga-Glens Falls Chapter, Treasurer of Saratoga Shakespeare Company, Lecturing Knight and Tiler of Saratoga Elks 161, and is a graduate of Leadership Saratoga, a program of the Saratoga County Chamber of Commerce.
John has over 28 years of operation and financial management experience in a range of executive positions (CEO/COO) and strong professional background managing tax, finance, business development, real estate management and ownership challenges for firms, non-profits and individuals. He is a Partner at West Advisory Services, LLC along with holding the position of Vice-President of McKenna & Franck, CPAs, PC, where he specializes in real estate taxation, restaurant and retail accounting, business, financial and investment planning and not-for-profit accounting.
Along with his CPA license, John also is a licensed assessor. He is a member of the American Institute and New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants.
John has lived in the community since 1971. He is a 1981 graduate of Saratoga Springs High School and a 1985 graduate of Siena College with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting.
John, 50, is married to Suzanne and has a daughter, McKenzie, and two sons John, Jr. and Matthew. McKenzie is a senior at Saratoga Catholic.
